Dear Halifax Plantation Members and Guests,

As an integral part of the Halifax Plantation Golf Club family, we want to thank you for your continued patronage. We treasure and value your relationship with us.

With Coronavirus (COVID-19) news at the forefront of our minds, please know we are discussing the situation regularly and adopting new practices that are applicable to our team and operations.

Given the situation remains fluid, we want to assure you that the health, safety, and wellness of the Halifax Plantation Community are our priority. Our cleaning procedures and policies, which strictly adhere to the recommendations offered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), are meticulously followed and executed by our team members. We are doing everything in our power to mitigate the potential risks COVID-19 might pose to our community.

Out of an abundance of caution, Halifax Plantation Golf Club is taking additional measures with the well-being of our guests and team members in mind. You will notice operational changes which will include:

GOLF
  • Each golf cart is being sanitized prior to each round.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning/disinfecting other high touch points around the clubhouse such as countertops, credit card swipers, pens, door handles, etc.
  • Pro shop doors will be propped open, weather permitting, during prime business hours to eliminate a very common touch point.
  • Our staff has been instructed to wash and sanitize their hands often. We are practicing social distancing and avoiding crowded areas.
  • We have removed all rakes, lids, straws, bag stands, ball washers and all practice putting green flags.
  • All rental club sales will be suspended.
  • We are requesting no more than four players on a tee box at a time.
  • Putt with the flagstick in the hole. This will eliminate another common touch point. On course, cup liners are raised to avoid placing your hand in the cup to remove your ball, and to avoid touching the flagpole. When your ball strikes the cup, your putt is considered holed.
  • All golf practice areas close at 6pm.
PUB RESTAURANT
  • Effective Friday March 20, 2020 Governor Ron DeSantis issued an Executive Order directing all Restaurants and Food Establishments within the State of Florida to suspend on-premises food and alcohol consumption for customers. We may operate our kitchen for the purpose of providing take-out service
  • We are prepared to offer some of our most popular menu items for takeout with curbside delivery for those who prefer not to come inside. If you would like curbside delivery, please call (386)676-9600  Ext.337 when you arrive, and we will bring your order out to you. Please place your order a minimum of 1 hour before closing.
  • Most importantly, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends if you are not feeling well to please adhere to governmental agencies recommendations and stay home.
To that end, as we continue to operate, our commitment to you is that our team at Halifax Plantation Golf Club will stay focused on being proactive with our efforts, as the CDC stated, this is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation. Together with your help, we will get through this challenging time. Halifax Plantation is truly a special community – a place where we care about each other and will do our best to help and protect each other.

We look forward to seeing you soon

Sincerely,

Halifax Plantation Golf Club Management
